Privacy notice (draft)

Draft for legal review — not yet in force. This describes what TrueVQ’s current build does with personal data. It hasn’t been approved by counsel; parts in [brackets] are still to be confirmed. Last updated 28 October 2026.

Who we are

TrueVQ is a personal AI agent for your day. The company responsible for your data (the data fiduciary under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act) is [to be confirmed by the owner]. Contact: support@truevq.com. Grievance officer: [to be named before launch].

What we collect and why

Your account: email address, name, language, reply language and time zone, to sign you in and talk to you in your language. A phone number only if you add one.

Your conversations with TrueVQ, so you can see them again; delete them any time.

What TrueVQ remembers about you, so its help fits you. You choose where memories are kept: with your account on our servers, or encrypted on your phone only. You can see, change or delete each one, and pause memory.

What you add yourself: reminders, bills and dates, follow-ups, people, habits, family lists and what you share with TrueVQ (a message, photo or document).

Connected apps, only if you connect them: Google Calendar and Google Tasks (to read and, with your approval, change them) and Gmail (to send an email you approved; TrueVQ asks for no permission to read your mail). Their access tokens are encrypted.

Usage records (how much you used, for limits and cost), your devices (to keep you signed in and send notifications), and redacted operational logs.

How replies are made

To answer you, TrueVQ sends what you ask, recent turns of the conversation, the memories relevant to it and the details of your day it needs to an AI model provider, Anthropic (Claude), in the United States. Anthropic doesn’t use them to train its models. If your memories are kept only on your phone, they travel with each message for that reply and TrueVQ’s servers keep none of them.

You allow this once, in the app, and can change it in Settings. A private chat keeps nothing of what you say.

Voice

When you dictate, your phone’s own speech service turns speech into text. In TrueVQ Voice, audio goes to TrueVQ only after you agree, to recognise what you said, and recordings are not kept.

Who else receives data

Only providers that run TrueVQ for us, for that purpose: Railway (hosting and database, Singapore), Anthropic (replies, United States), Google (the Google apps you connect, and Sign in with Google), Resend (sign-in emails), Expo (push notifications) and, when switched on, an error-tracking service (redacted crash reports). Apps you open from TrueVQ receive only what the link carries (for example a search). If you connect a shopping or food service in future, it receives what your search or order needs.

We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising.

Where data is processed

On servers in Singapore and with providers in the United States. [Cross-border terms to be confirmed with counsel.]

How long we keep it

Until you delete it or your account: account details, conversations, memories, connected apps and what you added. Sign-in codes 1 day; sessions 30 days after they end; finished tasks 1 year; your activity history 2 years; notifications 90 days after delivery; usage records 13 months. The schedule runs as a daily job.

Your choices and rights

In the app you can see and correct what TrueVQ remembers, export everything, disconnect apps (access is revoked at Google), withdraw consents and delete your account; deletion removes everything tied to it, including backups. You can also ask us at support@truevq.com, or complain to the grievance officer and then the Data Protection Board of India.

Security

Connections are encrypted; connected-app tokens and backups are encrypted at rest; every change TrueVQ makes for you needs your approval and is logged in your Activity. We report qualifying security incidents as Indian law requires.

Children

[Minimum age and any parental consent to be confirmed with counsel before launch.]
